Sign up to use the Massachusetts Career Ready Database at https://masswbl.org

Register to use the Massachusetts Career Ready Database from MASSConnecting on Vimeo.

Click the Create Account button

On the first screen, choose "Employer Account", “Program Staff Account” or "Intern Account" and click the button to CONTINUE.

Read the “Privacy and Data Use” statement and then click to “CONTINUE.”

On the next screen, fill in the requested information:

  • Fill in your name.
  • Fill in your email address. Your email address will be your username in the system, and so it is best to use a professional email address rather than a personal email address.
  • Fill in your city or zipcode.
  • FOR PROGRAM STAFF ONLY: You will need the access code (available from Jennifer Leonard at jleonard@skillslibrary.com or from your regional office.) This access code allows you to sign up for a staff account, which allows you to use all screens, including the full reports menu.
  • You may fill in the email addresses (usernames) for co-workers/colleagues with whom you want to share information. [NOTE: There is also another opportunity on the placement screen – to share information for each speciflc WBLP with the specific supervisor, participant and relevant staff.]

Click the button to CONTINUE.  You will be asked to select your region and organizational affiliation.  For most database users, the region is the Workforce Development Board region, one of sixteen geographic regions statewide.  The Connecting Activities, YouthWorks, WIOA, and other programs are coordinated through these regional structures.  You will be prompted with the correct region, based on the city/town or zipcode you entered on the previous screen.   If you are in a school-based or community-based program that is NOT part of these programs, you can write in your school district or community organization in lieu of the broader geographic region.

In the next question, your organizational affiliation may be a School-to-Career Partnership, a Career Center, a Workforce Development Board (WIB, or WDB) or other organization.   You may be prompted with the name of an organization based on your email address, if other staff from your organization have already registered and have the same email domain.  If you do not see the name of your organization, you can write it in.

Click to CONTINUE.  You will be asked to check the programs you work with, including Connecting Activities, YouthWorks, WIOA, or other programs, and to identify your school if you work at a specific school.  All of these settings will be used as default values when you enter data into the database.  These settings can be changed at any time through the "My Account" screen.
